The Simple Flavours of Joy

Vianco has been bringing natural, authentic flavours to Vietnamese kitchens since 1958. We started as Viet An, a small spice shop in Saigon, and grew over six decades into Vianco Joint Venture Enterprise, a spice and food manufacturer serving everything from everyday family meals to large celebrations.

Our story

Two of our heritage brands are household names in Vietnam. Our Indian Chef curry powder helped create the Vietnamese style of curry, and our Deer Brand five-spice powder has been a kitchen staple for generations. In 1985 we received the 2nd National Science and Technology Achievement Award. Today we produce in a large modern factory of more than 5,000 m², and in 2020 we gave the brand a fresh look and launched ViancoFoods, our range of ready-to-use flavours.

What we make

• Curry and five-spice: Indian Chef curry powder and curry sauce, and Deer Brand five-spice powder
• ViancoFoods: pho, bun bo Hue and bo kho spice powders; marinade sauces (BBQ, char siu, beef stew base, shrimp and chilli satay, annatto oil); and pho soup concentrates in beef, chicken and vegetarian versions, ready in 8 minutes
• Nghĩa Mama: our vegan range of Vietnamese soups and broths: Vegan Pho, Vegan Sweet & Sour Hotpot Soup, Vegan Hu Tieu, and Vegan Bamboo Shoot Noodle Soup
• Ground spices: annatto, garlic, lemongrass, cinnamon and turmeric, with no preservatives, colourants or fragrance
• Whole spices: dried turmeric, cloves, annatto seed, cinnamon and more, sourced from reputable growers who work to strict industry standards

Quality you can rely on

Every batch of raw materials is inspected before it enters our production, and we assess our suppliers regularly. Our factory is certified to ISO 22000:2018 for food safety management, and our products carry a Halal certificate. In 2023 we were recognised with the High Quality Vietnamese Products award.

We sell around 2 million products every month and export to more than 15 countries. We work with leading Vietnamese food manufacturers, supermarkets and online platforms.
